Shared Topic: Well, I never …

In this season of preparation for Wrath of the Lich King — or, as Anna calls it, Wrath of the Itch King — it’s the perfect time to push outside of your personal comfort zone to try something new and exciting. This week’s Shared Topic encourages you to do that! It’s entitled “Well, I never…” and was suggested by Twisted Nether’s very own Bre of Gun Lovin’ Dwarf Chick. In her own words:

Recently, in BA chat, I spoke about my guild progress and how we killed Mags the week before. Then the conversation turned to getting the “Champion of the Naruu” title. Which got me thinking, I actually can do that quest and get that title! Something I thought I would never see, let alone attain, was now an achievable goal.

What about you? Think back.

What content or goals did you think you would never see, and what have you done? What has surprised you the most? Where do you see yourself in 6 months, after the launch of Lich?

Netherhood Welcome Wagon – Tigerfeet of Secret Agent Cat

WWLogoWelcome Tigerfeet of Secret Agent Cat to the Blogging Netherhood.

First I normally start out these posts with a little about the person who writes the blog and then I give a synopsis of the entries. I’m going to break rank here and start out this welcome by saying; “OMG ROFLCOPTER UR NAME IZ KEWL!” Which translated out of lolspeak roughly equates to “Dudette I love your blog name!” And yes, I do fail at lolspeak, at least one of those words was unadulterated English. I only hope I can make up for that with my abuse of capslock.

~straightens her e-clothing and clears her throat~ Um, now that’s out of the way, In true secret agent cat fashion little is known about the mysterious “Tigerfeet” (In fact I doubt that’s her real name.) What we do know is; she’s 24, witty, her paws are considered a deadly weapon and she may be subdued with chocolate or if that fails a deep bottomless pit. I did try to discover more, but found most material written about her classified. I did find out, to the dismay of the male gender, that she’s married.

Her blog is not some chronicling a person on an RP server playing at secret agent, but rather a player who seems to be enjoying a fairly typical WoW experience with a fairly atypical amount of wit and an entertaining voice. So far I’ve been introduced to: dancing seals, why WoW is NOT the best thing since sliced bread (even though it’s still good), a day in the life of an agent, guild miscommunication and she’s even joined the druid Fo’shizzle cause.*

*Dear Mr. BRK and his scary lawyers, I use the term with all due respect to both you and the venerated BBB and his druid crew. In the interest of fair journalism, I am merely reporting the facts and hope to escape legal injunctions resulting from it’s use and rioting from of druids of many forms. In addition my journalistic curiosity wonders about the use of the word “Big” in both your blog titles and if this may have Freudian applications?

So, welcome to the blog-o-sphere Tigerfeet. May your readers be numerous and your typos be few.

Every Friday, the Twisted Nether Team has provided me (Auzara of Chick GM) with an opportunity to highlight a new blogger and welcome them to our blog-o-sphere. If you have a wonderful new blog I may have missed, please drop me a line at ChickGM at gmail dot com with a title of Welcome Wagon. I can’t promise to highlight them all but I’ll certainly try.
