Netherhood Welcome Wagon – Resto Is Epic

Spread the love

Hello Everyone! I’d like you all to join me in welcoming Katarnas of Resto is Epic.

Katarnas starting playing WoW just before the WotLK release, having tried it once before and being put off by the Horde (for shame!). Even though Katarnas is just one full expansion into WoW, he is no stranger to the Warcraft franchise, have been an avid player of the RTS version of the game. With a fondness for the Alliance story lines and races, he has never played a horde character in any of his Warcraft adventures. In fact, his affiliation and connection to the Alliance is something that he’s very open about.

Katarnas started out in WoW as a fury warrior with a side of tanking. However, sometime after that the healing bug bit him and he (very wisely!) chose the superior healing class (/cough), and started playing a resto druid. Katarnas is an officer with Otaku, where he has raided since Ice Crown Citadel released.

Katarnas’ blog focuses on the experiences that he has with WoW from many perspectives: a player, a parent and a guild officer. Of course – we won’t forget the perspective he offers on be a resto druid as well!

Over at Resto is Epic you will find a number of great insights. Katranas offers a Resto Druid Guide along with some thoughts on how he heals. You will also find a great write up on which trinket is right for you.

New to healing? No worries! Kat’s got you covered. You can find a primer on how to set up Healbot and the Pros and Cons of the different professions as they relate to healers.

Not into healing or resto druids? Aside from the fact that I find that impossible, don’t worry, because Kat’s still got you covered! Check out his thoughts on the new heroic dungeons. You may also find his thoughts on applicants looking to join a guild solely for guild perks interesting as well!

Katarnas is off to a fantastic start! I don’t know about you, but I sure am looking forward to seeing more! Welcome to the blogosphere, Kat!

Every Tuesday, Beruthiel from Falling Leaves and Wings is bringing you the Welcome Wagon, introducing new bloggers and great reads.
