Wow. I still can’t believe that we are coming up on our 2 year anniversary of the first episode! I think that was also our shortest episode ever. Way back in 2008, Bre and I had this idea. How about we create a podcast that talks about the WoW blogosphere? We took it and.. well, a co-host change, new graphics, a live show, 80+ interviews, lots of round tables, sponsors, Blizzcon and an amazing amount of the best fans anyone could ever ask for.. 2 Years later.. We’re getting close to 100 episodes.. We’ve got our second Blizzcon (well, 3rd for Nib, 2nd for our meetup) coming up in October.. And every week we get bigger and better (ok.. we try NOT to get bigger.. but.. we like to talk.. ).

So, Thank you ALL for your continued support of our grand vision! We really mean it when we say we couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you. You make what we do worth it.

We want to do something really special for our next couple of episodes. I’d love to get some voicemails, mp3 files, even emails if that’s all you can do from you guys. ALL of you! If you have a blog, podcast, twitter account or are just a listener (who doesn’t have a twitter account?!?). We’re looking for “shout outs” .. Let us know what TNB has meant to you. Make it as long as you’d like. Pimp your blog/show/twitter/facebook/whatever.. Let us know where you want TNB to go in the future! (Mars, Draenor, Abyssal Maw?)

Thank you all again for being the amazing community you are. We look forward to providing you another 2 years of the best news, views and voices from across the Internether! Don’t forget to come to our next couple LIVE shows (remember on our new Tuesday recording schedule!). You never know when we might give something away!

Thank you all that “participated” in the fun yesterday! Yes, unfortunately for some, the Twisted Republic Blogcast is, at least so far, just an April Fools joke. We hope you enjoyed it.. (especially the little Yoda)

We should be all back to normal and the 2 posts we had from the April Fools stuffs are in the April Fools category now. It was fun coming up with the idea and while it was a little far-fetched I suppose, it was still fun to put together.

TNB on the PTR TONIGHT 7:30pm PST Take 2

Tonight TNB will be having a virtual meetup on the PTR. Join us, we have a guild tabard and ventrilo.

To join us:
– Download the PTR client(link).
– Copy an Alliance toon or use an alliance-side pre-made on the PTR PVE server (Broxigar)
– Join the TNB chat channel. /join TNB
– Ask for an ginvite/invite and ventrilo information to whatever we’re doing

We’re hoping to go back into the new 5-mans and maybe check to see if “heroic” is all that hard.

Today (sorry for the late notice), Nibuca and Fimlys will be guests on the WoWInsider show, WoW.com’s weekly podcast! We’re going to be talking patch 3.2.2 and 3.2.2a (I think) and also take some time to talk about our newest endeavor, Azeroth United.

We’ve talked about it on a show a little (well, in the show you haven’t heard yet..) but Azeroth United is a new World of Warcraft Internet Media Community.. What is that? Well, tune in today at 3:30pm ET at the WoWInsider UStream to learn more about it! Well, either that or go to www.azerothunited.com ..

Just a quick clarification: A post entitled ‘bloggitty bloggity snark’ which accidentally appeared on these pages was not intended for publishing here. Please, PLEASE do not be confused and think that that post is at all relevant to TNB, as it is not (it’s more a matter of me being a dork and clicking the wrong blog to publish to). If it appears in your reader, I apologise for any inconvenience. The post has since been deleted. That post most definitely was not ‘allowed’ by Fim and Nib!

Come join us for this special event! That’s right! For one show, the Twisted Nether Blogcast will be recorded live and you can participate! Join us as several WoW bloggers come over to our virtual roundtable and discuss all things regarding WoW and blogging.

Who is going to be on the show?

We have Kestrel from Kestrel Aeire’s, Phae from Resto4Life, Matticus from World of Matticus, Auzara from Chick GM and Anna from Too Many Annas. Oh those hosts…what are their names…Bim and Fre?

That’s great Bre, stop selling the darn thing, and tell me when it is!

The show is scheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 12:30 am EST (yes I know that technically makes its Sunday, July 20, just go with me on this)

Okay that is a start, now where do I go?

To participate on the live show, you will need to go to the TNB Ustream show and use the password tnb73 (the password is caps sensitive. Only use lowercase)

Some general ground rules:

Be nice. If you say very inappropriate things be aware you will be kicked from the room. We are doing this to have a great time, come with a beer, come during a raid, come how you wish, just don’t come to cause trouble.
You may ask questions to the participants during the show, but we reserve the right to use them if and when we can. I will be monitoring the chat room and if I can I will use the comments during the show. We love that you are with us, but I will have to weave them in. Even if it isn’t asked, we all appreciate your questions

Outside of that, we will love to have you join us and partake in an enlightening discussion that is sure to follow!

Twisted Nether Store

We have, by “somewhat” popular demand, created a little Cafepress store. For now we don’t have much of a selection and we aren’t getting any proceeds from sales there, but if you want to wander around showing off your love for the Laser Chicken of Doom or the Blogcast in general… That is where you can get ‘da goods.

If you have suggestions or there are products you would like to see, leave me a note and I’ll see what I can do. Bre is working on what she wants a shirt that represents her to look like. We’ll put a link up on the sidebar at some point I guess.

Well, we’ve published 3 episodes so far and while we felt the theme we started with had the “feel” we were trying to convey. Bre and I have decided that it is no longer the case.

Itunes Broken?

Some of you may be experiencing issues with the Itunes feed. We apologize for the trouble, but we worked on the feed last week and that may be the cause of the glitches. If you have trouble downloading the cast, please unsubscribe from the cast in Itunes, and then re-subscribe. This should fix the problem.
