Netherhood Welcome Wagon – Heavy Wool Bandage

Spread the love

Hello Everyone! I’d like you to join me in welcoming Glorwynn of Heavy Wool Bandage.

Glorwynn started playing WoW just over two years ago, when on her quest for a new fantasy adventure, it was suggested to her by her husband. The two of them purchased the game and have been playing it together ever since! Together they take crazy journeys through Azeroth, with their adventures knowing no bounds. (Who says you can’t Trick or Treat in Outlands at level 40?!?!).

Glorwynn started Heavy Wool Bandage one day after asking for some novice healing advice on twitter and determining that 140 characters was insufficient to talk about how it feels to be starting all over again, and relearning the game from another perspective. The blog’s focus isn’t on certain class mechanics, or skill, but rather a study on the way people treat each other in groups and how her real life influences how she approaches the game.

You can see some examples of this perspective on WoW in Glorwynn’s look at Social Anxiety and Group Effort. She also takes a look at why your character heals, and lets people know that she’s not afraid to let you die!  Glorwynn also extrapolates on why you won’t find her healing battlegrounds.

When she’s not playing WoW, you might find Glorwynn with her nose in a book, creating art or crocheting a chupacabra doll!

I think that Glorwynn has already provided some very thought provoking articles, and I can’t wait to see more! Welcome to the Blogosphere, Glorwynn!

Every Tuesday, Beruthiel from Falling Leaves and Wings is bringing you the Welcome Wagon, introducing new bloggers and great reads. If you know of a new blog to the scene or wish to get your name out there, please send an email to fallingleaves51@gmail.com, with the subject line “Welcome Wagon.” She’ll do her best to highlight as many as possible!
