As far as I know this is what happens if the adds are not taken care off on the undead side. The Gates will open (without Gothic having joined the fight). Every add on undead side will then come over to your raid. Also There seems to be a spawn of additional adds. This makes the incoming wave pretty hard to tank and usually results in a wipe. I have no idea if anyone was sucessfull with this strategy. Just to let you know about the thing with gothic.
